Q. How do I create email accounts? A. To create an email account, login to your control panel and click add/remove email accounts. Q. What do I put for both incoming and outgoing mail servers? A. For both incoming and outgoing mail server, put mail.yourdomain.com. With some ISPs, you will have to use their SMTP (outgoing) mail server. If you can not send mail using mail.yourdomain.com as your SMTP, then change it to the SMTP setting provided by your ISP. Some providers may also require you to setup authentication when sending mail from your own domain name. Some of the known providers that require this are: earthlink.net and sbcglobal.net. Q. Where do I go to check my email using my web browser? A. Go to yourdomain.com/webmail. Q. How can I setup webmail to go directly to horde, neomail or squirrel mail? A. Login to the one you prefer to use. After doing so, you can create a bookmark in your browser. Q. What is a "catch-all" email address? A. This means that any email that is sent to your domain name will automatically be directed to one mailbox. So, you can have multiple addresses but only one mailbox to check. This also helps you to still receive email from someone that mis-types your address. Q. What is an email alias? A. An alias is an address on your domain that automatically forwards to a different mailbox on the same domain. For example:
This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
->
This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
Q. What is email forwarding? A. This differs from an alias in that it is an address on your domain that automatically forwards to an email account on a different domain. For example:
This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
->
This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
